750 ml  SUBLIMATION WATER BOTTLE

These are NOT double wall!!!

There are a few important things to know about water bottles before you
sublimate:

- The water bottles are similar to all other sublimated products in that the
transfer and water bottle surface need to make direct contact.
- The water bottle is poly coated and ready for sublimation
- Because not all mug presses or ovens are created equally the dwell time the
dwell time can vary.

There are 3 methods of sublimating this product - in a mug press in an oven
using shrink wrap or a silicone wrap. Scroll for all methods.

METHOD 1 - USING A MUG PRESS

Supplies needed:
- sublimatable substrate (water bottle)
- sublimation transfer
- scratch paper
- heating pad
- heat tape

Mug heat press settings:
- temperature - 400 degrees F
- dwell time - 1 - 3:30 minutes (see the press manufacturer for recommended
dwell time for water bottle if available)
- pressure - light to medium

-The heating pad is used to expand the diameter of the water bottle as some
mug presses are unable to tighten sufficiently around the smaller dimension.
The use of a heating pad will require a longer dwell time (up to a minute or
longer) in the mug press.

STEPS:
1. Position transfer onto the substrate using heat tape on the ends to secure
the transfer to the substrate.
2. Wrap a piece of scratch paper around the transfer taping if necessary.
3. Add the heating pad around the scratch paper and transfer.
4. Center the transfer bottle and heating pad in the mug press.
5. Close the mug press using the heat press settings above.
6. Remove items from the press immediately. Use heat resistant gloves if
necessary - the items will be very hot.
7. Remove the scratch paper and tear the transfer off.

Tips:
- If the image of the final product appears light increase the pressure or
the dwell time slightly (20-40 seconds).
- If the image on the final product appears blurred or substrate appears
yellowed or has brown spots reduce the dwell time slightly (20-40 seconds).
- Too much pressure can cause trapped moisture in the paper to "jet" away
pulling ink with it in a spiked-peaked formation. To avoid this reduce the
pressure.

METHOD 2 - IN A CONVECTION OVEN (using Shrink wrap )

Note: Because not all ovens are created equally the dwell time in an oven can
range from 3.5 - 4.5 minutes. Convection oven is recommended. Settings will
vary depending on the oven brand and model ink and paper and atmospheric
conditions.

2nd Note: Be sure that the artwork does not go beyond the size limits of the
wrap.

Supplies needed:
- sublimatable substrate (water bottle)
- sublimation transfer
- scratch paper
- Silicone Wrap (not for 3d wrap)
- heat tape( available on our site)
- convection oven

Oven settings:
- temperature - 380-400 degrees F
- dwell time - 4.5 to 5.5 minutes
- pressure - light to medium

STEPS:
1. Position transfer onto the water bottle using heat tape to secure the
transfer to the substrate.
2. Cut a piece of scratch paper to tape over your artwork transfer this
protects your wrap from ink.
3. Use the silicone wrap to secure the transfer to the bottle start wrapping
the bottle by stretching and rolling the silicone over top of itself. Make
sure to start wrap in a non-artwork area to prevent a line in your artwork.
4. Put a piece of heat tape around silicone wrapped bottle to secure wrap (may
need long pieces of tape).
5. Place the bottle in oven with recommended settings listed above.
6. Pull from oven and remove wrap and paper. Caution contents will be hot
use heat resistant gloves for safety.

Tips:
- If the image of the final product appears light increase the pressure or
the dwell time slightly (30-45 seconds).
- If the image on the final product appears blurred or substrate appears
yellowed or has brown spots reduce the dwell time slightly (30-45 seconds).

METHOD 3 - CONVECTION OVEN (using shrink wrap)

Note: Because not all ovens are created equally the dwell time in an oven can
range from 4 to 5 minutes. Convection oven is recommended. Settings will vary
depending on the oven brand and model ink and paper and atmospheric
conditions.

Supplies needed:
- sublimatable substrate (water bottle)
- sublimation transfer
- shrink wrap (available on our site)
- heat gun
- heat tape(available on our site)
- convection oven

Oven settings:
- temperature - 380-400 degrees F
- dwell time - 3:30 - 4:30 minutes

STEPS:
1. Position transfer onto the water bottle using heat tape to secure the
transfer to the substrate.
2. Place bottle and transfer into shrink wrap cylinder.
4. Using the heat gun carefully direct hot air onto the shrink wrap until
tight around the bottle and transfer.
5. Place the water bottle in oven with recommended settings listed above.
